We have been using the manual M&R Kruzer screen printing carousel for the last 2-3 years and we LOVE IT!..

This was the selling point for us. As a professional screen printing studio, we needed our carousel to be heavy duty enough to print thousands of shirts every week, however our studio is very limited on space and moving premises didn’t seem like a good option for us. We have managed to fit the Kruzer comfortably into a 3 x 3 meter corner in our studio and this allows plenty of room for maneuvering.

REASON 3 : INTERCHANGEABLE PLATENS
Before owning the Kruzer, I would dread every time a customer asked me to print a sleeve or canvas bag. The process of finding a screw driver and changing the platens wasted so much time I almost wouldn’t bother taking the job on! Thankfully. the Kruzer makes this job quick and easy. You can change a platen in approximately 6 seconds and you can purchase platens in all different shapes and sizes – a massive selling point for our studio!
REASON 4 : MICRO REGISTRATION
This carousel can print up to 6 colours. Micro-registration helps you align them 6 colours perfectly. Admittedly when we first started using our Kruzer we thought there was a fault with the micro-reg, however it turned out we had just tightened a screw too tight. Whoops.
REASON 5 : ADJUSTABLE OFF-CONTACT
The Kruzer makes adjusting your off-contact so fricken easy! You don’t need a spanner or specialist equipment, you can just turn the bolt with your hands. Simple.
REASON 6 : MOVING PALLETS
If you have ever had a screen printing press with just 1 pallet, you will understand why the Kruzers moving pallets are such a big deal. This saves SO MUCH TIME! As the pallets move, you can be printing a shirt while another shirt is being flashed. Or, if you are really quick, you can have 1 person loading the shirts, another unloading and another printing all simultaneously.
REASON 7 : SIDE CLAMPS
The Kruzer locks your screen in using 2 large side clamps – one on each side. This keeps your registration perfect and is much more secure than the cheaper carousels which only hold your screens along the bottom.
REASON 8 : 6 COLOUR
6 colours can pretty much do anything… with a little bit of knowledge. The artwork might be able to be broken down into a CMYK print. If the image has more than 6 colours and can’t be adapted, it might be worth looking into an automatic press, because frankly, anything more than 6 colours is going to take up too much time with manual printing.
REASON 9 : ROBUST
I feel like you could drop this carousel off a skyscraper and it would still be in tact. M&R haven’t over complicated the design of this press. We simply keep it clean and give it some lubrication every now and again. It’s simple and it works and it keeps on working because it is robust as hell! Thank you M&R!
